I applied online for a personal loan. On 12-28 a Mr. David Carson from Alpha star Loans contacted me via phone to tell me that I was approved for the loan of $5000.00. He explained to me that their "Lender" Patrick R Stewart located in Barrie Canada - requested a security payment on the loan in the amount of $960.00 - he again called after I faxed the loan agreement and promissory note; stating that their was a minor problem and I was to call money gram to allow the funds out to their agency. I called money gram and said yes; I was assured by Mr. David Carson that my money was safe and I would get the loan in my checking account within 2 hours on Dec. 31st.
I called with concerns during this time because the loan did not go into my account. He finally answered my call and told me that there was yet another issue and he would connect me with customer service as they would handle it from there.
I spoke with Thomas who said he was the "Manger" he explained that the lender had a right to do a secondary credit check and now the lender wanted an additional $800.00. Assured that this would be it and PROMISED me the loan for certain with no problems.
Same scenario once again, I called over and over again leaving messages. Finally spoke with yet another man named Larry who said he was also the manager. Telling me that I needed another $1000.00 to INSURE the loan. At this point I was a nervous wreck due to the fact that I got other loans to pay the deposits I had already paid to them!!! Now at Jan. 7th - feeling lost and no where to turn because I needed this money desperately to pay off debts and also for my Daughter who is suffering from an illness. I needed to get her to a specialist and a rehab center if dr. Requested to do so.
Please help me - I am facing eviction from my home - my utilities are going to be cut off.
I need help so bad!!! Please i beg of you to help me resolve this awful nightmare!!!
