Ramada Plaza Resorts Scam not worthy of your money

I received a travel voucher on my mail that I won a vacation package. I called them and agreed to pay for the discounted vacation package. Other than long wait time, I didn't have any problems. I opted to do monthly payment and finished paying for 1 person. When I wanted to use the bonus getaways, I was told I must pay for the 2nd person, which I did. I also paid extra $60 per year since I extended my term. I bought this in 2006 and I only used it now.
First, the reservation department was very rude. I asked for an itinerary for my trip since I had to apply for a visa for Bahamas. It took them literally more than a month to finalize an itinerary. They do not email them to you, they can only fax it. The supervisor Adrianne even hung up the phone on me. I honestly believe after reviewing all these reports that they do not use their names. I asked the last name of Adrianne and he refused to give it to me. Considering that they know all our details, they cannot even give us an honest last name?
When we arrived Fort Lauderdale, we were assigned to Plantation Hotel and Conference Center. We used our GPS and we could not find it, only to realize it has changed its name to Quality inn. The place was a dump. It was dark, the sink was separated from the bathroom. The bathroom was dirty. There was a fly in the room. They asked us to attend a tour of a resort, which was a time share talk. After attending the talk, that's the only time they would give us the ticket voucher to the cruise. They claimed it would only be 2 hours. The resort was 1hr and 15 mins away. The talk lasted from 1-430pm, and we had to drive back for another hour. That consumed day 2 of vacation. We could not stand wasting another day so we left the dump hotel and booked the hotel of our choice. We tried to confirm the cruise the day before it sails, the welcome center cannot give any confirmation. I asked if this is the kind of poor quality service they provide, I was answered, "yes, that's the kind of vacation company you're dealing with".
The Cruise was fairly ok. Except for the very old and depressing cabins, it was fine. The service was good and food was fair. It charges you extra like gratuity and fuel charge.
Orlando - we were already preparing for another dump hotel. We were asked to attend another tour of vacation village and we refused to attend it. We were told that with the package, we are required to attend the tour before we can get our free disney tickets and it will only take us 90mins. They lied the last time stating it will only take us 2 hours for the last time share talk. We decided to purchase our own disney ticket and not to waste more time with them. The Ramada hotel maingate west was tolerable. I saw signs posted $49 per night. The line to check in and check out was long and they did not provide extra people to attend to customers. The one on the front desk was the same person answering all the phone calls.
All in all, I paid 689 per person total of $1378. All taxes and surcharges had to paid on the trip itself, not included in the package. Computing the total package they have given to me - Quality Inn $65 per night x 3- $195, Rent a Car $338, Cruise $150 per person x2 -$300, and Ramada Hotel Maingate West $50 per nightx2-$100. Total of $933. The time and stress dealing with unprofessional Customer service, attending time share talk& priceless!!!
During the time share presentation, I was informed that each couple they send to attend this talk, they receive $500. So if you attend both talks, they receive $1000, which covered the package they provided. This is a scam! Too bad I only learned about this website while I was already on the trip. Lesson learned!!!
