I was approached by a gentleman named Peter Salinas and employee whom worked for a company named Plan Your Idea out of Burbank California. He stated this firm was owned by a firm named PB & Associates. They created Warner Brothers, Absolute Vodka and pussy cat dolls just to name a few examples. Peter Salinas worked for the business of Plan Your Idea which is owned by Patrick Babaian.
Peter was originally contracted out by another company through Plan Your Idea to create my business plan which is Form A Corp. After completing it, Peter stated I had such a great business concept he wanted to pitch it to the Firm PB & Associates which was Patrick Babaian's fathers. I mailed the employees of PB & Associates/Plan your idea and Peter Salinas over $200 in swag merchandise for the pitch via mail. The "pitch" was made and Plan Your Idea/PB & Associates wanted to take me on as a client. Peter Salinas was representing Plan your Idea out of Burbank California.
On September 15th I was to attend a lingerie convention for the shop and Peter stated in order for his company to take the best action with my business his management position, their direction their research, I needed to send a payment of $25,000 for him to attend with me. At this point I signed a contract and sent them the payment and Peter attended the convention with me.
Many promises were made to me via email and phone conversations and many lies were told to me yet when I started to call Peter Salinas on the issues I was having he stated he was in contact with David James of Vivid Video and they were interested in the business concept and wanted to meet with Peter and possibly invest in the company. I told him I wanted signed confidentiality agreements signed and sent to me. He then stated that the initial 30 days was over and in order for me to have him continue on and work with them I would have to send in another payment. At the time I informed him that I did not have the total monies and could only come up with $10,000. If I sent in this payment I would be putting my life, home, child and business in jeopardy.
Peter Salinas personally guaranteed me that he would obtain funding with the deal he was working on with David James of Vivid Video. I received a signed confidentiality agreement and I sent the second payment. This was a dream come true. With all the fighting with the city and the X partner the 4 year nightmare and my boyfriend passing hurt would end and I would be able to start working on my dream for women and their sexuality. The clock was ticking and Peter stated he was meeting with David James, Matt Schmidt, 3 attorneys, a financial advisor and a CPA of Vivid Video once again. I stated to him I wanted another confidentiality agreement signed if he was going to meet with them.
I then received both signed agreements this time however I felt something was wrong. I started to do some research on David James of Vivid Video and tracked him down and spoke with his secretary and personal assistant and sent the forged documents. They stated this PYI Company is scamming me. At that point Peter Salinas continued to state he was meeting with him and a few associates in Burbank at a place called The Rainbow Room. I called the rainbow room and they stated nobody was there nor had there been. I began to become more suspicious of what Peter was telling me and so I waited for a phone call from the real David James.
At this point I was receiving text messages and phone calls which I had friends listening to that he was in the middle of contracts and there was a 1.3 million deal on the table. I told Peter to take the monies and run at this point. He stated it was late and they would resume their meeting the following day. That gave me time enough to track David down and to speak to him personally. Mr. James stated to me that I had just been scammed and that to call the police on this Plan Your Idea. December 22 a police report was made.
I spoke to the owner of Plan your idea Patrick Babaian Boss he stated we would resolve the issue even though I had asked for my money back and he was just looking for me to get more invetors to scam me out of more monies. Once again Patrick Babaian and Peter Salinas of Plan Your Idea tried to get me to come up with investors for more monies during that conversation. Patrick warned me that if I took any action he would sue me for the remainder of the contract.
He sure can try however at this point I want to make sure that any and all media, people, companies or anyone involved with Plan Your Idea, PB & Associates Patrick Babian or Peter Salinas are aware as they will stop at nothing to scam people out of monies. Right down to lies and forgery. Even after talking to Patrick Babaian he states that he has a good reputation and will go after the full contract amount, however how good is the reputation if this gets out to the media, newspapers, intranet, Mark & Brian Radio Show, Call 3 action, anyone anywhere.
He stated he will try to go after me for slander if I ever said anything. Whybecause I have all the emails and all of the text messages in which were sent to me including forged documents and recorded conversations which prove everything was a lie in which was told to me. I am fighting for my life, child's life and my business.
I am in hopes to get this story out there to show I am a single mother with a business that has been completely lied to from the beginning and have every bit of documentation to show this and I am not going to back down. I will not be bullied and will go forth to inform people and to get my monies back. I have an attorney but honestly I don't want to have to go this way as it will cost time effort and monies and my business. I'm fighting back and know that going to the media will help. They took advantage of a single mother and a lingerie sex shop business owner.
