It will be 3-years this March 15 thank god for that. I am canceling my services with them.
This all started when I signed a contract with them in 2006. The contract stated there were no monthly statement fee's, no monthly minimums with low rates of 1.59%. It was awesome for the first year.
In January I noticed that I was being charged $10.00 statement fee, I call them about that and I was told that there was an "amendment to the contract" and I had to pay that no matter what. Like a dummy I never did anything about it.
Now in January 6 I was charged another "amendment to the contract" $79.00 (PCI) Payment Card Industry fee and I was told that I had to pay that, it's the law. I looked into (PCI) linked from www.nabancard.com website to a McAfee anti -virus software company giving away for FREE a "Self-Assessment Questionnaire", North American Bancard wants me to fill out and Fax it to them (charging me $79.00). I contacted other Credit Card company's and they never heard of such a thing. When you fill out the contract you are asked the same questions as the FREE Self-Assessment Questionnaire, why am I being charged.
Any lawyers interested?
