Employment scam

There have already been 2 posts about this, but I would like to add my complaint. The following is a post of mine from the message boards and Tim's response:

-You overposted. I'm not sure exactly how many positions you have available but it is nowhere near 5000. Why did your ads appear on craigslist Seattle and others? This is a bay area company. Just posting there would have yielded several hundred replies. Either this is because you were oblivious to how many people are out of work right now or you were maximizing your viral marketing strategy.
-Nowhere does it detail the requirements of the jobs available. Why?

-What I, and others, see is that you drove traffic to your site in a creative way and now have thousands of hits on your website to show before you even went live! How impressive.

-To be considered a credible employer you need to have a set of procedures in place for new applicants. You've changed the rules every day since we got into this mess.
-$100 for reproduction rights of copyrighted material is ludicrous. You will make money off of these sayings for years.

-Why in god's name would a fledgling clothing company start a resume farm for MAJOR established companies who already have employment application procedures in place? Maybe it is coming from a good place but it's reckless and a terrible idea for your company.

There are blogs dedicated to exposing irresponsible website behavior like this. I'm not going to pursue sicking an e-dog on you because I still think you didn't mean to screw everyone over like this... But not everyone will feel the same.

His response:

What I said in another thread was that if you feel it's a scam to do two things:

1. Leave this website now.
2. Unsubscribe from our newsletter (if you're on it)
3. Don't tell anyone about us.
4. Don't submit any more t-shirt ideas
5. Check back in a month or two and then see what's up

I don't mean to sound obtuse, but I've got a lot to do in a short time and don't really have the time to worry about things outside my control.

Tim

I changed my mind about the blog thing, obviously. Also, I believe that is 5 things Tim.
