I sent a cancellation letter to LA Fitness in September, and started receiving overdue notices via phone and email in October. I talked to a rep once on the phone who assured me that "processing takes time" and I replied to an email to no avail. Today (12/22) I got a live person on the phone from the Collections Department and paid $89.97 to immediately cancel the account that I had been trying to cancel for 3 months!!!
