I purchased a Silky Terrier in August from The Pedigree Shop @ Park Meadows Mall. I was told verbally and via "the contract" that I would get the pedigree documents within 3 months. It's now December and I do not have the paperwork, and have not received a call back from the owner, Lori Senecal. I have gone into the store several times and have made numerous phone calls and have not received any reply yet.
If the owner is so reluctant to return my calls, it seems to be that they have sold me a mixed breed and not a purebred as advertised.
I have checked out this company on the BBB website and they gave them an "F"!! There have been 8 reports in the last 36 mos, with only 4 of the 8 being resolved. (I will be number 9!) I intend to secure legal advice, report them to the BBB and the Colorado State Attny General for Consumer Affairs for false advertisement and poor customer service practices. (hopefully I'll get some of my money back.) Another business website states Lori Senecal's store made $400,000 last year. (and has 6 employees). I think she can afford a 7th to get this paperwork out in a timely manner.
