It was November 14 around 700pm that I received a phone call stating that I was approved for a loan in the amount of $6000.00. The guy that I was speaking to his name was Josh. He stated that all I had to do was to send 5 payments upfront totaling $980.00. He stated that once I wired the funds to the account in Canada I would have the $6000.00 deposited into my checking account the next day by noon. I called him back on November 19 with the reference number and he had informed me that he had received the signed contract. I gave him my account number so the funds could be wired to my account November 20. An hour before the funds were suppose to be wired to my account I received a phone call from Richard saying that the private lender backed out and I had two options. I could get a full refund of the $980.00 that I sent plus the $14.00 that I cost me to wire the money to Canada or I could send an additional $980.00 plus the $14.00 and it would secure the loan with the lender. I then asked, "How do I know for sure that I will receive my loan once I send this money a second time?" Richard assured me that this was a guarantee that I would recieve the $6000.00 that I was applying for the next day before 500pm if I sent the $994.00. Being in the situation that I am in I sent the money. Well on November 20 a little before 500pm I received a phone call from Peter Duncan asking if I wasn't telling them something. I said, "excuse me!" Peter then said that the lender was pulling out because of my credit history. He to gave me two options: I could receive a full refund of the $1988.28 that I had sent or give them enough time for them to find another lender.By this time I'm pissed off because it's Christmas time and these people have nearly $2000.00 of my money. I told him to refund me my damn money. He assured me that my money would me refunded into my account on December 17 because that is when they issue refunds. Well reading others complaints, I'm pretty sure that I will not be receiving my refund. I'm a mother of a 3 year old and a 4 year old pretty much raising them alone because my fiancee does not work. So much for Chrismas!
