I will attempt to be as brief as possible in describing an issue that exists on a National basis and which is truly a ripoff, which can be substaniated by various reports and other data that appear on the internet and my own personal experiences in dealing with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Manufactured Housing Industry. HUD is corrupt and the fact that they refuse to recognize and enforce the repeated violations of there own HUD Code.
There are hundreds of thousands and possibly millions of Manufactured Homeowners who must suffer and must be content with the shoddy construction and lack of any quality control which HUD is alledgedly to oversee and their refusal to prosecute these companies. These companies are actually as Federal law takes precedent over State laws. Therefore, in the majoity, prosecution of violated HUD Codes are neglected.
The Third Party Inspection system that HUD instituted is a fraud to say the least. Due to the lack of interest on HUD'S behalf, there are States, such as Texas, Louisiana and Ohio, which became disgusted to the extent that these States have passed there own Legislative Laws that they enforce for the protection of their citizens from the shoddy workmanship in the Manufactured Housing Industry and HUD'S refusal to enforce violations of there own Codes.
As I previously stated, I have correspondence, reports and other data from national organizations supporting my allegations. The only way to properly expose these Atrocities is for a major news network to take the initiative to investigate and expose these Agencies for what that are and that is corrupt.
