In February, I attended a seminar for Realtors hosted by The Coaching Institute. They had a huge campaign going on in our region and many agents were contacted and invited to attend. Everyone in my session was rushed into spending $6,000 and promised a ton of opportunities. Some people were smarter than me and didn't attend the second day. They also made it attractive by deferring interest for one year. For my $6,000, I received a few weekly half hour telephone calls from a coach who gave me advice. I've never heard anything more from him and I certainly haven't made any money. Now, the economy is terrible, my real estate business has dried up and I don't have the $6,000 to pay the bill. Also, others in my group negotiated their fee down and paid less than I did. I found this out later. When I called The Coaching Institute to negotiate mine down, they wouldn't talk to me. So, for all you agents out there, BEWARE. My credit is going to be affected unless I find a way to pay this bill. The Coaching Institute is a real FRAUD.
