Financial Asset Management will call before (? Without?) a letter describing the debt. They are calling several times a day. When discussing payment they lead with "you are obviously refusing to pay" without listening to the circumstances THEY ASKED to be described. They stated "we will call as often as we can until you pay". Ok... Throw the Fair Collection Act out the window... These people are bottom of the barrel, scripted (obviously because the "attendant" stumbled on the words), and out of line. This is why there are legal entities who come in on these cases when it gets out of hand. Time to start a diary, hold onto phone records, and wait if my situation doesn't change to my (and their) favor for them to say the wrong thing.
