I went to work for CRE 14 months ago, I am still working for them. (not much longer) They made all these claims and promisses, safety bonus, fuel milage bonus ect. Well the safety bonus does not exist, if you miss a safety tape and test or get in a chargable accident they deduct from your pay. The fuel milage bonus is an unatainable figure and if the trucks are coming close to it they raise the bar. Millage bonus they conveneantly don't let u get there unless they have to. I started with a 65mph truck they then turned it down to 62 then they turned the rpm's to 1600 (try to upshift a 60 series on any grade at 1600 it can't be done) they said this is all in the interest of saving money bacause of fuel cost. They are the lowest paying Co.in the industry. 29 cents per mile to start. I make. 26 because I'm on dedicated and get more miles. They have reduced minor miles from loads but it adds up.
Our medical insurance benifits was reduced and if you want to go home GOOD LUCK. If you have a problem or concern there is no way that you can get it delt with or any answers. When you do, they treat you like you at the bottom of the food chain. I have been trucking for 30 plus years, over the road for four, I have never seen a company that has less regard for their employees. I recently heard of a Fleet Manager that was fired for being to close to his drivers. Go to work for anyone but CR England. All new trucks, good luck on that one also, more like a two year old truck that has been beat to death and lived in by a family of animals. I could go on and on but I think I've gotten the point across.
