Beware of Covenant! You will be charge each week to mail there paperwork to them thur Trip pack.
In orientation, they tell you. "you will be given a safety bonus each quarter, if you don't have a chargeable accident." What they don't tell you, is if your not seated on a truck the 1st day of the quarter, you will not be paid your safety bonus. You find this out afterwards. When you don't get your bonus.
If you have an accident even if it is not your fault. They will take your safety bonus, plus they will charge you $500.00. They are a self insured company and someone has to pay there deductable. Which they will take from you with out you authorizing it. ($25.00 a week)
You will be told if your in OR, WA that you need to buy chains for the truck, (nov-mar) they will advance you the money on your comdata card. And they will take $25.00 a week out until you have paid for the chains for there truck.
You will have to give them the first 48 hours befor they will even think about paying layover pay.
If you have a problem you will be given the run around, and put on hold several times, until you time out and there phone system hangs up on you.
You will be lied to, but remember this is a Christian company. They will treat you worse than a 3rd class citizen.
If you take your truck thur the Chattanooga yard, they make you run a gauntlet to get back out the gate. You have to go thur permits, logs, there shop, finally outbound, if your lucky enough to get a load out of there.
