A-1 towing, The Lund Company, and my neighbor. Yep, those are the Grinch's who stole my kids christmas.
So I wake up this morning and start cleaning. Having an unusually good day, I took care of the cats too while my boyfriend went to sleep. He works the graveyard shift. I go to take the trash out and guess what?"What?" You ask. My car is gone!!! I'm thinking to myself, My car was stolen! Then I remembered that I was going to ask him to drive my car, but couldn't remember if I actually did. I run back inside, wake him up and ask if he drove, hoping that maybe he parked down where his car was.
Nope... Then it hit me, when I came home that late I had heavy stuff to bring in with me, so I parked in the only available space, the dreaded "Reserved for Apt. 4" spot. Seeing that she was parked next to the spot and her other car was in the handicapped spot I had no worries right?
I get inside and my newborn is screaming cause he is hungry so I go get him and start feeding him, forgetting to move my car. The lady who was not even parked in her spot took it upon herself to call the apartment manager and have my car towed! I can't believe it. I have only been nice to that lady. Never again, will I be nice to someone who is so disgusting of a person. That's right, the woman who lives in apartment 4 is the worst person I have ever met. Her son frequently drives her car with the handicapped placard. So that takes up one handicapped spot in the lot. She keeps parking in a regular spot even though she has a "reserved" spot. All of this because she USED to have cancer. Used to being the operative word.
This lady does not have any trouble getting around at all and is all better. The only time she had trouble was when she was doing Chemo. The cancer is gone, there are no more meds (She talks about all this by the way) Yet, she is still handicapped and will get some stupid physician to sign off on that paper for the rest of her life. Ridiculous! Worse yet, the apartment management feels she deserves a reserved spot, why??? Because she can't walk the ten feet from the handicapped spot? This is madness, Leonidus.
There was no call for that. She could have knocked on the door and asked me to move. It's happened once before. She called the police on me that time. They at least knocked on the door and asked me to move! But alas, the new management listened to her complaining and immediately called the towing company, instead of me whose information is in their files, who charges me 225 dollars to get my car back. Yeah that's right, $225! So I was thinking we weren't going to be able to buy Christmas presents anyway and was preparing all five kids for that, well not the littlest cause he is only two months old. Good god, $225 for something that STUPID. We technically we just bought presents it just wasn't for our family.
So my daughter's birthday is on Sunday and Christmas is coming up fast and I have to pay $225 because someone is so hard up to hurt someone else she has people towed.
Why the heck does the tow company charge $225 anyway. For what could they possibly justify a charge like that?!? It certainly isn't gas. The airport only charges 7 a day but I had a $40 storage fee, for 12 hours it was there?
