Same situation as the silverado, except mine was for a mazda rx8. They owe me $5500. I returned their car, after they kept saying my loan was going through and hundreds of inquiries on my credit report. They said come back in three days for your refund of deposit. I still have not gotten a word from anyone (epiq no, I did send in a claim tho). It has been two months.
When I returned their car (expecting the promised refund) I went to another dealership and got a truck. I gave them a deposit check (since bill heard said i was going to get my money). It bounced twice. My loan did go through with the other car dealership within days not a month (like BILL HEARD).
Point is — I want my money back and some correspondence. I feel invisible. And yes humiliated at work for having to return my dream car. I feel so much more toooo... Grrr.
