Car repai

I had a repair taken in that was caused by the Starr repair shop. They had left a wire on the electric fan exposed on a recall they had done about 10 months ago, My daugher had the car in Manteo, N.C. When it started running hot. She took it to a mechanic in Wanchese and he said the last person who had worked on the car had left the wire exposed causing the fan behind the radiator to srike it causing over a period of time to sever the electric fan wire. He said he had rather the repair facility that had put the fan on it look at it eventhough he could repair it. It was taken to Starr. The mechanic looked at it and said it was their mistake and they would repair it. I asked him at that time was anything wrong with the other tire and said there was nothing wrong with it. At the time he noticed I needed tires. He said he could sell me a set for $300.00. I told him I probably did but I would let him know when I brough the car in to repair the next day. I decided I did not want second hand tires and told him the next day that I had decided against buying the tires. He the proceed to replace the fan and then after the fan was put it. He comes out an tells me that I would have to pay $208.00 for the fan that was put in and informed me that the other fan needed replacing. I voiced my diapproval of the way it was done. I was not informed about it until it was put in. I spoke to Clay White about using one of his loaners to go back to Franklin so I could speak to Chyler about it. HE said I could. THe car so the mechanic said could not be driven. I went home, called Chysler, and was informed that they were not resonsible how the dealers done business. He then realized that I had bought 3 cars from them and he said he would call the dealer and see if it could be resoved on a good faith repair. Before I could leave my house to go back to Starr, the backshop manager called me and ask me if I had talked to CHrysler. I told him what they said but also told him he should let them tell him. HE called me back in 15 minutes and told me I had to pay for it. I was very angry and told him that I was going to complain to Chryler about it. HE got very rude and told me to be sure and mention his name to the one I complained to.in the meantime I carried the rental car back to Starr. I filled the gas tank up before. I got there. When I returned to Starr, I tried to talk to Clay White the owner and more or less got the brush off. I paid the cashier and when i did I notice the the bill had gone from $208.00 to $254.07. I asked the cashier and she told me that it was probably disposal of the fluid. When I got home, I looked at the bill and they had put down $46.00 for gas on a tank that I had filled up. I went 26 miles to Franklin and 26 miles back. I have lodged complaints with Chryler Motor company with no satifiable result. All I got from them was we cannot help the way our dealers do business. IF they are not responsible who is? I had to have the car towed back to Franklin. A friend of mine went under the car and fixed the wires in 10 minutes. This was something that the dealer should have don.

I want a full refund on the so-called repairs and a refund for the gas charges that were not legitimate. The total I paid was $254.07. Both my wife and I were were treated as rude as possible from the owner to the saleman to the backshop manager.
