I retained Starr Law Group in 2012 to do a Loan Modification for me with J.P. Morgan Chase Bank. At the time I hired Starr Law Group, they told me in order to do the modifcation I would have to be behind on my mortgage payments. Starr Law Group told me not to make anymore payments until the modifcation was completed and at that time all of my arrears would be put on the end of the mortgage and Chase would show me as current on my 3 credit reports. Starr Tld me also that they would keep me up todate weekly with how the modification was going. I mailed and faxed all needed documents to Starr Law Group, and they claimed that many of the ones I sent them, they never received. I tried calling Starr Law Group weekly because they would never call me, if they did call me they were very rude and unprofessional. I called one time and the gentleman I spoke to, told me not to call anymore because my file had been closed. The modifcation with Chase was never completed by Starr Law Group and Chase told me they had a hard time getting with Starr Law Group. Because of Starr Law Group, now Chase has put my home into forclosure, because Starr Law Group, told me not to make the monthly mortgage payment to Chase. I feel that Starr law Group is not a good Law Firm to work with when it comes to doing a modification. I did contact the office of Pam Bondi, Florida Attorney General. I am on total disability and a State Mental Patient that has been taken to the cleaners by Starr Law Group, in Pompano Beach, Florida. I would like to be paid for all monies paid to Starr Law Group with Interest $6,000.00 (2) Paid for my home which is in forclosure arear payments $20,000.00 and My home to be removed from forclosure statis with Chase. 3— ($50,000.00) for marriage problems Starr Law Group has caused for my wife and myselfs marriage. (4) And $100,000.00 damages that Starr Law Group has caused me mentally from all the worry and lost of sleep duing the time they did notheing to help me with the modification. (5) I had to hire Legal Assistance in Florida to try and help me with the Modification and now because of the problems Starr Law Group has caused me with Chase, I am not sure I will be able to get Chase to help me with the modification. I have found that tqo other law firms has former clients of Starr Law Group, that the same thing happened to them that Starr Law Group, has done to me. I am asking for a total of $200,000.00 for all the damages and heartache, marriage problems, home in forclosure, and not providing me the services that I paid Starr Law Group to handle for me. I am 63 years old and on total disability and Starr Law Group is about to caused me to loose my home. I also would like for Starr Law Group to get my home removed from the forclosure Statis with J.P. Morgan Chase. I also feel that Starr Law Group should be disbarred from practing Law since that are so many know complaints that have been filed against Starr Law Group. I have Names and Phone numbers of other law firms that have sent Starr Law Group demands letters to refund all other former clients monies, and so far, no one have been repaid.
