I purchased a generator from ALCO on 11/26/08 and followed instructions for assembly, after this was completed I attemped to start the generator but the pull rope was bound up, so I removed the outer case to find that a bolt had fallen into the cooling fan and as I pulled the rope it sheared about 75% of the cooling finns off. I took pictures and sent to Allpoweramerica, no response, tried calling numerous times, on hold for up to 30 minutes at a time, then told to leave name and number and would be called back. Never happens, this is a very bogus company and ALCO will not take unit back, says to contact Allpower. This is a joke. How?
