After paying $12.95 per month, for the past 8 months, I decided this month to check was ILD Services was on my phone bill. I found out they are the "billing clearing house" for a scam operation called Nations Voice Plus... Where we supposedly signed up in Feb. For an 800 phone number for voice mail when we were on the "Big Bargain" website. This didn't happen, but they also had our email address and some other secure information. I don't know where they got this, but very scary.
I am really upset that our phone company (Verizon) can't do anything about these fradulent charges, or put a stop to this billing system. This is something that can easily be overlooked, and as vigilant as we think we are, we also overlooked for 8 months! When I called, Carol quickly agreed to cancel our account.
