Ridiculous Prices for Long Distance Phone Calls

I made two long distance phone calls from a payphone in Ames, Iowa that were each less than two minutes long and I was charged more than $11.00 for each call! Both of the calls were within the United States and there was no mention on the phone booth of the ridiculous rates that I would be charged.

I called their "customer service" number and was treated very rudely and told that I was charged out of state rates and should have paid attention to the rates that were posted on the phone booth (which I will remind you, were not there). I am pretty sure that I won't be getting my money back.
