International Blvd. Self Storage
Belongings was moved to a different storage, & taken by the manage

I have been renting 2 storage units @ International Blvd. Self Storage in Seatac for almost 2 years. (unit 84 & 85) It started about 2 yrs. Ago, I started renting unit 85, later on we had thought of moving to Florida, so we started packing all items that we dont used on daily basis. Such as Antique vases, pottery, art work, over 100 yrs. Old, (worth about $20k) brand new t-fal blue cookware, ($1700) fiver optic christmas tree and all other christmas decoration, all christmas presents for family & freinds, all ultimate fighting championship DVD's, black filing cabinet w / all personal records, (for 10 yrs.) as well as some of my medications. Anyway, after everything was packed, I called International Blvd. Storage, and spoke to the manager David Carter in regards to getting another storage unit next to 85, @ that time there was not one available, however, he stated there will be one available in about a month. So about a month later, I called David again, in regards of getting another storage close to 85, and it just happen that storage #84 was available, so I was given storage #84 I was also given a free lock by the manager David, @ that time David was sick, so he told his wife Carol, to assign the unit #84 to me and the paperwork will be taken care later. To make my story short, on 10/24/08 my daughter and I took some christmas presents that was just purchased @ wallmart to storage #84, everything are still in my storage, however on 11/05/08 went to visit my storage unit #84 and discover that my unit has no lock and been moved to a different unit # 87, when the manager open unit #87 I immediately noticed that quite a bit of items were missing, such as all antique collections, filing cabinet w / all our personal records for the past 10 yrs., including but not limited to narcotic prescription drugs, and all wrapped christmas presents for family and friends. The manager @ International Storage, stated the reason, things were moved is because, she thought unit #84 was abandoned. I called the police, the manager told the police, that it was another employee who moved my belongings and Deseret Industries (similar to goodwill) was called and picked up my things for donation. I called Deseret spoke to the manager Jerry Hatfield (253-839-9045) Jim informed me that they do not pick-up donations nor did they receive a call for a pick up in regards to storage #84. The manager @ International Blvd, Storage also stated to the police that there is no way to get a hold of us, my husband and I informed the officer, our information such as name address and phone # was on a medication label, then the officer Clay Minshull, stated those information will not be on the med. Label, due to privacy act. When we returned home, we checked our med. Label and verified, our information was on the med. Label, that includes our name, address, and phone as well.in regards to personal records in a filing cabinet, just to let you know, just recently I had received, an E-Mail alert from PayPal stating someone was trying to access my account from different computers on 11/06/08 and 11/09/08. Yes I have proof! Not only we lost personal belongings, it is also indentity theft! Your help is greatly appreciated!
