The short story is I was denied a legitimate insurance claim by UPS / Crawford company with nonsense about the packaging didn't meet their company standards but the bottom line is it did meet and exceed their standards. They accepted my credit card, inspected and shipped the package with full insurance containing an $ 1,100 vintage painting. When the box and the contents were destroyed by UPS they turn it over to Crawford. UPS insurance is an enormously profitable enterprise for UPS... Just read the UPS complaint website if you think I'm sour grapes. Why doesn't the government step in and protect us? Who does UPS answer to?
