I got an Email from Tracfone saying they wanted to give me a new replacement phone in September. I acknowledged that I'd take their offer. Purchased a year of calls in October. I got the phone and activated it and buying one year of phone minutes October 30. I kept the phone charged for use. Just the other day I tried to recharge the battery. The battery would not charge. I called Tracfone today after contacting them over the internet. No retailer sells batteries for the phone and they don't sell them. They now say that I have to buy a new phone. The phone that they supplied was made in China (KYOCERA K126C) I think that their generosity was a scam so that I'd have to buy a new phone. With 1500 minutes on the phone which I will loose by not following through and purchasing a new phone and not being trusting enough to deal with Tracfone, I don't know what to do. Is there any advice that you can give me.
