I did not know IP-Green Tea Online and never authorized this company to take money out of my account. I do not know how they even acquired my account information.
Fortunately I have a debit checking account that was empty at the time this company tried to charge my account for $89.31. I did suffer a $2.00 NSF however. I disputed this charge but ultimately I have to start a new debit checking account and get a new debit checking card.
I am concerned about online purchasing now because I am not sure how this company or where this company obtained information about my account. But I protect myself the best way I can by being sure of what I am ordering and making sure it is only an order placed for that sole product and one time— no trials or other offers attached.
I want to hear from other consumers having problems with this same company and unauthorized charges. I have only one other piece of advice being that if you really have to make a purchase order online don't make it from your major bank account cards get a debit checking account as a decoy where you have smaller amounts of money stashed and if an unauthorized company should hit your debit checking when you don't have anything substantial in it and cause you to get an NSF like in my case at least the charge is just a couple bucks not like paying $38.00 overdraft or something as with most major banks.
