Pawnee leasing is a lender who deceptively convincinces borrowers to agree to unfair and abusive loan terms, or systematically violates those terms in ways that make it difficult for the borrower to defend against.
The story is remarkably similar to the others. Outrageous interest rates, verbally stating there were less number of payments than stated in contract, no truth and lending statement provided, unfair and illegal collection procedures to name a few.
In short. A microdermabrasion machine cost of $14,500, lease payments over $30.000.00, took back machine, and sold it for nothing (under $2000.00 - value was $12000.00). They refuse to provide bill of sale. One year later files a lawsuit for $22000.00. They received 10,000 in payments and security deposit. Settlement offer of $8000.00 rejected. That would have amounted to $20,000.00 plus if they had sold the machine for what it was worth at $12000.000 they could have walked with their $30,000.00.
