We HATE Tahiti Village Resorts. Dont be stupid like we were and buy into this entire gimmick of timeshares.
We were on vacation last year in Vegas. Our first vacation together after we survived Hurrican Katrina and pieced our lives back together. We were just enjoying the sights and the slots when we got smoozed into attending this resort seminar with the reward at the end of a free show and money to play slots with, whether we bought or not. We fell for it. Gave up the better of our day to listen and us, like dummies, fell for it. We loved Vegas and thought that it would be a great investment as well as a great way to force us to take a vacation. That wasnt reality folks.
We have continued, until recently, to pay for this monkey on our back and when we did try to take a vaction, guess what, there were no rooms or dates available. Nevermind that we got 4 free trips upon spinning their lucky wheel. Now they are threating to foreclose on the property which we have already told them that we cannot and will not pay for due to the economic times we are in. We are lucky to pay our primary mortgage. Our mortgage company told us today that we cannot refinance our home because of this timeshare. We HATE Tahiti Village!!!
