On June 30th a very friendly young man came to my home. My neighbors and I were out of the porch with our children. He told us he was selling magazines for his college tuition and needed so many points per day. He said there were incentives for getting the most points etc etc. After a good 15 min visit and a very convincing story I agreed to buy a magazine. I complained about the price and he said really I was investing in him the magazine was just a bonus. I spent 38$ on a magazine called Family Fun. I paid with a check that promptly cleared my account. He let me know that it could take a few months to process but I would receive my magazine in about 90 days. As of today I have no magazine, there is no telephone number on either receipt I was given. I am so angry that I fell for this scam. Send a charming young man to my home wishing for a chance to go to college and I'm out 40 bucks.
