Having read other reports on the internet and based on their behavior, I believe these people are identity thieves.
These crooks are violating multiple FCC regulations. They are using auto-dialers to call sequential numbers without regard to the do not call list. These numbers also include cell phones, another FCC violation. When the call is answered, there is a computer generated message that does not include the company name or contact number, an FCC violation. They are spoofing caller ID's (the number you see is not the number they are calling from), another FCC violation.
If you answer, you are given the option to press 1 for an agent or 2 to be removed from their list. Since they are using autodialers, you will not be removed from their list and you will be called again, another FCC violation. If you press 1, you get an agent who identifies the company as Warranty Division Inc., but refuses to give a callback number (another FCC violation).
Anyone who blatantly defies the law like this, is probably a thief. Should you be naive enough to provide personal information, they will probably steal your identity and empty your bank account. Beware!!!
