We received a call from the so-called Monarch Media Group about updating a phone listing. The person they spoke with was not authorized to make such a transaction. Such a transaction must go through the corporate office. Monarch Media Group proceeded to send us a bill for $480.
I received a call from a "Nancy" regarding the payment and I advised her that we do not want the service. She claimed that there was a contract. I asked her to fax it to me but she stated that the recorded conversation was a contract. At this point I ended the conversation and began doing research that led me to the complaint site.
