I received a check in the mail from Shoppers Instincts Inc.in the amount of 4,998.00. It also gives you a breakdown as to how you handle the transactions with this money.
I was very close to doing this until I decided to check on line to the authenticity of this check. I found this report on usacomplaints.com about how these are rip offs.
I went on line to find the information on the bank that this "Cashiers Check" was drawn on and sent an e-mail requesting information from the bank. This morning while checking my e-mail I had received a reply from the bank.
This is the reply:
The check is counterfeit. If you know of another place to announce this type of fraud to the masses please do. This type of fraud has become very popular. It's becoming very easy to get Bank info and to print very legitimate looking checks.
