During October Edgefield Veterinary Hospital, owned by Brad Barnes, DVM and located in Hampstead, NH perpertrated the most horrific "dying pet scam" I had ever known in 30 years of pet ownership.
After bilking me of $700 in medical services, they insisted I obtain further diagnostic services in the form of an ultrasound at Dover Veterinary Hospital, by John MacGregor, DVM.
Dr. MacGregor insisted that my elderly dog was treatable, where she remained in a cage on fluids, despite being unable to eat for an entire WEEK! All the while personell & reports were citing IMPROVEMENT!
At the end of one week or $3000, I was told that my dog was infact uncurable and DYING, and finally suggested euthanasia. This was accomplished by Cathy Gajewski, DVM without informed consent via a CRUEL, INHUMANE method.
Futhermore BOTH clinics are involved in the "teaching ring" for benefit of Great Bay Community College vet tech program, of Stratham, NH, Margaret Nicol (formally a/k/a Peggy MacGregor, VMD) program director
