This company moved my family long distance in California. They used rental trucks, part time movers, did not say what they said they would do, which was take a complete inventory and check it at the destination point. Consequently, we are missing several items, including large paintings, sterling silver and other miscellaneous items. There were several well-packed boxes of glassware and ceramics that were completely shattered upon opening. There was also damaged lawn furniture due to the improper repacking of the trucks.
Our household items had to be stored for one week in order for our home to be completed. After investigating, I determined that this company has no on-site storage facility and gave me false information as to where and with whom they stored our items.
Nationwide's letterhead address states 'Suite 218'. The suite turns out to be a P.O. Box. I cannot speak to anyone in person.
Any phone conversations I had with the company, both before, during and after the move was with a Maria or a Cruz. Both dealt with me in a highly unprofessional manner, and did not seem concerned about customer satisfaction. They have hung up on me without answering my pertinent questions.
I watched all the household items be loaded on two trucks. From that point on, I cannot determine what happened to my items or where they were kept. All I know is that many valuable things are missing.
The storage facility that they claim they used to store our items has no record of them as a company or as using their facility.
