This company is a true rip-off! They are known by local law enforcement, former employees, customers, and ex-customers as a scandalous used car lot. This unscrupulous car dealership lures customers in with the promise of a low downpayment and low monthly or weekly payments. Unfortunately, most consumers that buy here are desperate for a vehicle and do not understand the consequences of buying at this lot.
This dealership does not post prices on their vehicles and will raise the selling price depending on what they believe you will pay. After the contract is signed, they wait eagerly to repossess it in order to resell it to another unsuspecting buyer. If you have a weekly or biweekly payment schedule and decide later that paying monthly is actually easier—they will NOT change this. If you are late (even a day), they will THREATEN to repossess your car!
This dealership will contact your workplace, your references and their workplace, friends, and neighbors, and tell them your situation. They will THREATEN consumers and attempt to INTIMIDATE them FALSELY. This is ILLEGAL according to the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act and many citizens do not know this. Unfortunately, this dealership also conducts Caller ID Spoofing which will show up on Caller ID as someone you know and this is not yet illegal (if this is changed, please post).
PLEASE do NOT let them intimidate you into buying right then and there!
PLEASE look CAREFULLY at the contract!
PLEASE do NOT sign before understanding what you're signing and the consequences of possibly making your situation worse down the road!
PLEASE know that you have RIGHTS even if you've already bought here!
PLEASE do NOT let them instill fear into you that keeps you from taking action!
If you've been wronged, contact the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, and if applicable, the Federal Communications Commission. Last, you may want to contact your local news action team who could take your case public and help you.
