I called and inquired about Blue Hippo's computer's and credit program back in June. When I orginally called the rep spoke so quickly I had to call back several times before I got a clear understanding and decided that I wasn't interested in the program, after trying to cancel and being persued into not canceling I recieved my shipping documents in the mail, although I had already gave my account info over the phone I hadn't yet mailed back the shipping documents with the copy of the voided check, they proceeded to take money out of my account. I thought oh well let me just call and cancel this thing because I just didn't feel good about it, I called everyday for a month and never got a person on the line, I even started calling 2 minutes before the business opened trying to catch them and even right at 8:00 the recording kept saying they are experiencing a high call volume and the average wait time was 20 minutes, I waited on the phone for 45 minutes still with no answer.
A bit of helpful information is I was told by my bank that I had to shut my account down and open a new one because the same company can go in after you do a stop payment for a different amount, and the stop payment only covers the first payment that you originally stopped payment on.
Now since I knew I wasn't getting a cash refund and I could only shop in their store for any monies already taken out of my account, I have been trying to call so that I can use my $190 that has already been taken from me but I can't get through the line to talk to anybody. I went to the website and they told me in a live chat that this something you have to do over the phone when you want to cancel.
Nonetheless people I haven't been able to get a hold of anybody from this company, I think it was a scam from the beginning so WATCH OUT!!
