Back in April, I purchased a gift certificate from Restaurant.com.in May and each month since, Shopping Essentials Plus has been charging $14.95 to my credit card, unbenownst to me until just now (Aug. 2008). I contacted them by phone and was told that I had signed up for this service and that I agreed to pay this monthly fee. I never enrolled in any service and never agreed to pay this amount, nor did I provide my credit card number to them. They said that it was provided by Restaurant.com.
They agreed to cancel my 'membership' that I never signed up for in the first place, but would only credit me for one month of membership fees. They refused to credit anything further.
I contacted my credit card company and am having these fees diputed.
