Hostonce is my website host.in the last year my service with them has been so sporatic and unreliable I requested they release my domain name so I can change. Hostonce website is down more than up, which means my website is down too. When they are up, they either do not respond, do a temporary fix, or just do nothing. There is no way to contact them by phone or mail. They refuse to give out any information about themselves. You are at their mercy.
When I was an up-start business trying to save money they seemed to be what I was looking for, now that my business is making a little money I can not have my website down for weeks at a time and not be able to get into my Outlook to retrieve messages for work.
In reading blogs relating to Hostonce I do not appear to be the only one they are holding hostage. Many blogs just say good luck retrieving your domain name as they will refuse to give it up. Now I must re-do all my business cards, letterhead, and various contact info to change to a new website name, as well as find a new host, get them my webpage info, etc. What a nightmare.
I can not stress enough that you do your research, get a good business phone number and address so you can contact your webhost in a way that does not involve the internet. Do not use HostOnce. They are not reliable.
