Overnight Genuis had a free trial for a cd that I participated in. I signed up, payed the shipping and handeling and then received my cd over a week later. (which already cut into the free trial time period). I canceled my free memebership and well within the cancellation period. Their customer service department e-mailed me the RMA number to send back the product. I did this and they still charged $78.23 to my checking account. I called thinking it was a mistake and they would reimburse me, however, I was the one mistaken.
They stated that they never received the product back and I am responsible for the $78.23. I asked to speak to a supervisor for further assistance and I was placed on hold and then transferred many minutes later to another customer service rep. Who told me the same thing.
I am very upset that companies are able to fraud consumers out of money this way. No one does anything. I should never of been charged after cancelling!
