I thought Overnight Genius was a new company trying to break into the Internet training business. I thought their marketing concept was good. I asked for the "free" CD offered for shipping only and was also asked to accept another related CD free and a third CD "on trial".
I was to return the "trial" CD within ten days. I sent the trial CD back and kept the two "free" CDs.
A few days later my account was charged $76.41. I called the available phone number and was told I needed to get a Return Merchandise Number before sening the "trial" back.
When I enquired where it said that, I was told it was in the terms and conditions. To be able to read the terms and conditions you need to click the link. Like most Internet users, I didn't bother.
I tried to resolve the issue with a supervisor. When that didn't work, I asked to speak to his superior. I was refused access to the superior.
Other offers I have tried come with directions for returning the "trial" in their mailing box - but not this one! I was misled. I may have purchased their products, but not now! I have asked my bank to try to resolve this issue. But I am not hopeful.
Other information I learned was that their "trial period" begins the day you place the order. It took about a week to get the CDs.
