Alamo rental greater cincinnati airport cvg in northern ky scammed my credit card for over 680.00 bucks! Yes! 9 days ago i rented a vehicle for my own business and advised them ahead of time on the time needed for the rental. I was quoted 42.00 bucks a day rental, at the end of 6 days i dropped off the vehicle and was treated like sxxt upon return. I didnt care how i was treated, people do have bad days, and the lady was working alone, miserable she was.
I left alamo rental office and told i would have 382.00 bucks placed on my account. I was in disagreement as there were hidden fees on my account. I knew i was in for a ride! An alamo rental car ride! This is when the beauracracy bullsxxt began, phone calls and no one knew anything, no one knew who to talk too, and offered no email address or upline of supervisors, or mgt etc. I asked for an email address of disrict mgr etc. And they said they dont give out email addresses as they have to be security or virus conscious, bullsxxt! Yea!
So here i was jammed on my credit card for 680 bucks! And the rental agents at the desk did not give a sxxt! They only cared to rent cars and place you on hold! They offer no solution, no one to talk too, no mgt names, no phone numbers! This is a total raqcuet! A scam!
Ive treated like trash from day one that i got caught in the alamo car rental! Insane! Insane! The best was on the day i called the 800 number to make the reservation, they give you a confirmation number, well, what do you think happens when you arrive at the agency to rent the car? The quoted rental price triples! My quote was 42 bucks when i arrived they refused to hear my verification code, and then tripled my rental fees to 130 bucks a day! After 20 minutes of arguing they agreed to the agreed initial rate!
After 6 days of renting the vehicle, i returned the car in good repair with a full tank of fuel, i should not have done that, as they screwed me for several more debits on my business debit card! They hit me for a total of approx 680 bucks! Yea! 680 bucks! This was insane! Then after calling every day for several days, and 28 calls total, they disregarded me totally! They blew me off, hung up on me. They trashed me! They hung up on me over and over for just asking for someone to talk too and asking them how i could be pounded for 680 bucks!
I called today and they hung up on me again! The best part is, im calling to fix the problem to get my money back and theyre treating me like sxxt like im the problem! If i dont get my money back after the dispute filed through my bank im going to file a rolice report for possbile internal theft.
This has to be an ongoing re occuring issue as everyone seems to be on the same team by refusing to allow you to talk to any mgt personell, and offering no phone numbers, and telling you that they cannot give me an email address to mgt as they are worried about corportate viruses? I rented a car for a little over 40 bucks a day and was pounded over 680 bucks and i still dont have my money back and dont know if i will! Alamo car rental/vanguard parent company is a total scam!
