Fein, Such, Kahn, & Shepard contacted me in March via correspondence after filing a summons. They will offer to "help" you settle your debt without court intervention. They never follow up and then contact the court after the 35 day deadline after the summons is received. They will forward a packet and threaten to have you thrown in jail if you do not respond to their requests. The company will then offer a settlement arrangement, receive payment and then contact the courts again and pursue wage garnishment. They received a $125.00 payment from me and refused to acknowledged payment to my account. They cashed my check and then contacted the courts to pursue wage garnishment. I have two complaints on file against them via the FTC and now I notice that they have a reputation of deceiving consumers and trying to cheat their way with the legal system. If anyone has concerns about this company contact the FTC and file a complaint.
