I believe IBD Marketing was a scam company right from the begining of its ruthless conception. We paid them $1,300 to list our Cabo property. They even listed it wrong. Every time we would call, they were in the process of setting up a virtual tour for a potential purchaser (incredible huh!). Then we never heard from them again. Now you cannot even contact them.
I unfortunately fell prey to this scam. Since there is not even an internet location for them to "show timeshares, " isn't there some type of recourse for all the victims of these snakes? I would think it would be some type of breach of contract since they are no longer providing a service that was agreed upon. Victims unite! Let's file some type of class action so they don't get away with it. We discovered a timeshare scam in our city a couple of weeks ago, and the owner is now sitting in county jail with a hefty bail. That would be the perfect ending to the criminal minds behind IBD Marketing.
