I was aggressively contacted for weeks by IBD Marketing sales reps around May After much hesitation, I reluctantly agreed to let them sell my timeshare. I told them I could not afford the $900 fee. They then agreed to let me pay $241 with the balance being paid once my timeshare was sold. I was promised that my timeshare would be sold within 90 days or I would receive a refund.
I contacted them every couple weeks or so to check the status of my contract. Once the 90 day period had come and gone, I contacted IBD and requested to speak to a supervisor because I was unhappy with the service—or lack thereof&that I was receiving. The representative told me I had offers on my property and that they were just waiting for the financing. This went on for several more weeks, each time I called, I was told the same thing.
The ignorant bastards then had the nerve to get "aggravated" with me because I refused to list my property for rent. So now since January I have been trying to contact them to no avail. At one point, their website was suspended. I filed complaints the Florida Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Services as well as the BBB. The BBB reported that IBD failed to respond to my complaint.
I too am willing to take part in a class action lawsuit. All I want from IBD at this point is a FULL REFUND OF MY $241.00!
