Ripped me off twice... And now there going to pay

Well I graduated in June and i was driving a 2001 Mazda 626 which i had purchaced from a different dealership. But i was having issues with that car so in July i decided to go into the dealership to see what i could do about getting a new car since i would need a realiable car to drive back and forth to college each day. My mom had also purchased a car from them with no problems so i figured it would be the same for me. Well i guessed wrong...

I ended up with a 2007 Chevy Aveo brand new with 84 miles on it. My payments were 350.00 when i told them i wanted to stay at like 250.00 so the car salesmen i was dealing with said he would cut me a check to get my payments down to 250.00 a month. Also the salesmen said that it was fully loaded but after signing the papers and seeing the car it was not. I also told them that i wanted to be able to refinance my car because i had neg. Equity from my mazda and they told me no prob just come back in 6 months...

So thats what i did... I went back in Feb or March and the car salesmen that i dealt with was trying to put me in a "NEWER" car than the one that i had purchased from them 6 months prior. He told me that i was unable to refinace my car and that because of my neg equity i was going to have to pay off more of my car inorder for me to refinance to get my payments down. So i waited till June and went to my Bank ESL to get a refinance estimate. They pretty much laughed at me when i told them that i needed a loan for $16500 when my Aveo was only worth $9000. So at that point i was pretty livid.

On that same day i proceeded to the dealership which was no longer located in williamson but they had a used car dealership in webster. So my mom and i proceeded there. I told them that i thought he ripped me off and that i wanted my money. I was dealing with a different person at this point in time. The guy i dealt with before was fired for screwing over other people besides me. He told me to bring my paper work in to the dealership so that he could look at it.

Well i did about a week later and he said that they didn't mess up on anything. He told me that the cars salesmen should have told me about a program called Equity 4U and he should have put me in a program car. I told him the only way that i would do it is if i knew i wasn't getting screwed and i got the car that i wanted. So he proceeded for 2 weeks straight to try and find me a 2008 car with betweek 15000 and 20000 miles on it. Well he couldn't find anything with in the price range they wanted. Because they were going to pay off my aveo and start me over from scratch and just keep the neg equity from the mazda. Well i pulled over about 4,900.00 in negitive equity that they were adding on to the price of the aveo which was 14,175.00-so in total i ended up financeing 18,300.00. Well i made 11 months of payments all on time so i payed about 4000.00 of the 18 thousand.

So the car salesmen said that they were going to pay off my aveo and give me 3500.00 that i had payed from the aveo so that i didnt loose my payment that i had already done. Well they put me in an upgrade car which was a 2008 chevy cobalt 4dr Lt with 16,200 miles on it. The car was priced at 13,900.in which they had to add the negitive equity on to. And if they took off the 3500 off the neg equity i should have only rolled over like 2,000.00. If you add the 13,900.00 and 2,000.00 you get close to 16,000.00 well i ended up financing 21,000.00.

I signed the papers yesturday and i showed them to a friend who is a car salesmen at a different chevy dealership. Also the other thing is they failed to give me ALL of my paper work. The one sheet that they didn't give me was the long bank sheet with the interest rate and stuff on it. Also they failed to tell me that for the Equity4U you get charged 400.00 for using the service. My friend told me that i should contact the attorneys general and see if i have a case to sue them. I know now that Joseph Neri is NOT a nice person and HIs dealership screws people over.

So please don't go there and if he screwed you please speak up. The more people we have that said he screwed them over the better off we will be. I know that i am going to try and get out of this car and this situation free and clear of all of my loans and possible get something for all the stress.

So for the mean time ill work my butt off to pay for a 2008 chevy cobalt which the payments are 451.00. When i told them i could only afford 300.00 and below.
