I went online and searched for a new car, I found a honda that I liked on the low book sales website. I applied online and got a call shortly after that I was approved. I left work and drove to the dealership. I was told on the phone to ask for Jody. I went in that afternoon and was introduced to another salesman who ended up helping (more like screwing) me. I look at all the cars on the lot and didnt find one that I like that would fit my budget. So the sales man suggested that we drive to SLC. So we drove down to Salt Lake. I didnt see anything their either. So we drove down to Lindon and I told him the car I really wanted was a Honda Element since I had totaled mine not long ago and showed him pictures of the wreck. He went through my camera and proceeded to tell me how sexy I was (knowing I am in a relationship). He then showed me a completley inappropriate picture on his cell phone. NUDE!!! I was so uncomfortable. He kept being really flirty and talking sexual.
I finally at 10pm decided I would just get a Chevy Aveo, I was ready to get back and just go home. We got the car, left the car that he drove us down in there, because he wanted to ride back with me. We get back a little after 11 to Layton and sign papers. I was told that my interest rate was 22% turns out it is 30%. I was also told that the total I would be paying for the car is 8900. Turns out I am paying 15,000 on a car that if I traded today would be worth 5,000. I was totally humiliated by the car salesman and got ripped off.
