Manipulating transactions to cheat customers out of overdraft fees

I see by other reports on this site that I am not alone in getting cheated by Arvest Bank. They have not "confirmed" my transactions in the order they were done, and have waited MORE than one business WEEKDAY to process some transactions. They DO process things out of order, in order to charge MULTIPLE OVERDRAFT FEES. They even charged me ANOTHER overdraft fee on the $1 fee they charge for using an ATM that's not their own.

They also sent me a letter saying I was "overdrawn for 20 days" and they were revoking my overdraft manager, on top of ripping me off for multiple overdraft fees. I have direct deposit every 14 days, like clockwork, and have not been in overdraft that many days in a row, ever! The multiple fees would not have occured had they not manipulated transactions, and processed things in a proper manner. Waiting more than one day to process DIRECT DEPOSITS is inexcusable. Seems odd they can process transactions that occured ON THE NEXT DAY, before they processed a direct deposit, one of which has happened EVERY 2 WEEKS SINCE I OPENED THE ACCOUNT. The only reason I see is so they can rip off customers with multiple overdraft charges.

BEWARE OF ARVEST'S "FREE" CHECKING. They seem to be making quite a killing with their "free" checking accounts.
