Just after switching my phone service to Verizon I had a charge of $60 on my first bill for a 20-minute call to Switzerland. As confirmed by Verizon by telephone the going rate is 10 cents per minute or $2 for 20 minutes. I wrote a letter to Verizon asking for a refund of $58 but have not heard back in over five weeks. I wrote the letter to Verizon SRC in Annapolis, Maryland as advised by the call center supervisor who would not issue me a credit of $58.
