Deposited a check from Kubota Financial for $7625.56 on July 14. Before the deposit, I called Chase or Bank One where the check was drawn from. They told me this is a good routing number and account number and the funds are availabe. Called 1-647.686.0386 and spoke to Sean Peter. I had to call to confirm the check was deposited per the letter I received.
Waited until July 19. Went to my bank and they said the funds are available. The branch manager told me to wait until July 22 to make sure there is no stop payment on the funds before withdrawling any monies.
Called Sean Peter on July 19 and told him the funds were not available and said they are pending in my account. He told me to wait untill July 21 and call him when the funds have cleared. At this point, I'm toying with him. There was no pressure or excitement other than to wait for the funds to clear.
He gave me a name and address where to send the monies once they cleared my bank. He told me to go to WalMart and send $5625.00 using money gram. I told Sean that WalMart was too far away and can I use Western Union. He seemed to hem and haw and said ok. Right there I new something was up.

139 Jeff Ave does not exist anywhere in New York let alone the Zip Code is not even registered with the United States Post Office. ZipCode 197xx is in Deleware...!!!
OK... So now I'm sweating bullets. I transfered all my monies to a secondary account. The bank will not release any funds or monies unless I sign a release. I think I'm covered...??? I think the worse that can happen is that the bank will charge me $35.00 for a bad check.
I'm waiting to see if the monies have cleared on July 22. If they have cleared my bank, do you think sending $5625.00 to make $125,000.00 is worth the risk? If all else fails, I still have $2,000.00 more to my name than I did a week ago...
