This company is a company that enters into contracts, but does not fulfill their contractual obligations. They deceive you with profiles of people who may not even exist. The picture, of course is an actual person, but I highly question if they are actually "online" or even affiliated with the site by anything but the picture that was used. Further when I talked to customer service about what I believe is fraud, he claimed that since I was able to log in to the site, I have used the service and I was therefore responsible for the money I had paid.
I believe the point is that they deceive you into a contractual agreement that is not based on the truth, and they are misrepresenting their services. That would make this then a voidable contract as consideration on your part has already occured in the form of your payment, but the service was not provided as represented.
