After purchasing their Online TV package ($75.60) on 6/24/08, I discovered the majority of the tv channels and radio stations were not in service. The Favorites option did not work. Their "3,000" channels were far short of that promotion on their homepage. Many categories as advertised (i.E., Science Fiction) were not provided in the software.
I tried to reach them via the Support Option on their homepage, but the site displayed "unavailable" when trying to access it. I was finally able to reach their customer support today (7/8/08). Their rep, "Alex", refused to refund my $75.60, even though their FAQ stated "Can I Cancel my membership? Absolutely, if ever you become dissatisfied you may cancel at anytime during the course of your membership without any further obligations". I was told by "Alex" there were no refunds allowed after seven days, even after I told him I could not access Customer Service during that first week because of the above site "unavailable" anomaly. He also refused to provide me with the name of his supervisor, corporate hreadquarters, etc. To resolve this issue.
This product and their company eptomize the classic terms "rip-off" and "scam". What would be your recourse?
