Beware! Sells low quality, won't stand behind what they sell - rip off

I ordered a XXX touring 150 www.rabbitscooters.com. Ordered and paid for it on May 21. Received an email from Brian stating that they didn't have the one I ordered in stock but could ship me one that was the same just a different manufacturer, and would upgrade it to a 250, I should get it in about 3 weeks. I did some comparisons and decided to take the 250 XXXX Touring that was offered. I received my new scooter on June 10. I am finally getting my scooter dropped off... Literally nearly dropped off the unloader on the truck! The delivery driver was in a hurry to get me to sign the shipping papers and only opened the cardboard box... It came in a metal frame that was bolted together inside the cardboard box. What a pain it was to get it unbolted and then he left it on the wooden pallet so getting it off of there was also a big pain as it weighs about 300 lbs. It was a 150cc... Not a big deal, I paid for a 150 so I wasn't too terribly upset at that point. Got it assembled and was ready to test ride it... Checked to make sure I had it all correct and... Nothing! It wouldn't start. Called their customer service line listed and it was disconnected, tried to send an email through the link on their website to customer service and it came back as undeliverable. I responded to the email from Brian who, through email 2 days later, provided me with a different phone number. Called that number and was told to check the gas lines... Time to take it somewhat apart. I was already getting ticked. Just so you know, you can't return the scooter unless it is in it's original packaging and has not been put together or has been assembled by a certified mechanic. Even though I was assured that I "could assemble it with ease... 80% already pre-assembled, just have to put on the windshield and mirrors". Turns out the gas lines were pinched (the instruction manual can be looked up on the internet and is a JOKE! Look up RO-KE-TA instruction manual and you'll see.). Got the gas lines unkinked and now we had the wonderful smell of gas in our garage with a puddle on the floor. Customer service had no idea what the problem was... Maybe a hole in the gas line, maybe the tank was leaking. I was told I needed to find out where it was leaking from.."maybe the flat head screw under the carburetor"... Give me a break! Come to find out it is a faulty fuel filter. The fuel filter leaks through the seam. What a pain in the butt! It is now July and I have yet to be able to ride my scooter.

I would have had to pay $100 to get the thing towed to an authorized parts dealer/mechanic or go buy the part from them and they are 35 mins away, and have someone change it our for me. I'm a girl and this has been nothing but trouble for me. Thank goodness I have a a man that is mechanically inclined! Rabbitscooters will not take any responsibility, they are registered with the BBB as well with a "C" rating. I filed a complaint last week and haven't heard anything. BTW, when you contact them through email, expect them to take 3-5 business days to get back to you with a one sentence resolution. I have no faith in the Roketa that I have. Oh, and for you to get the title to register it, they don't tell you till you inquire about it, you have to fill out a form online. I will never buy from them again... Ever. The site looks great, but the products and service are anything but that.
